Full Day   -   Departing Cairns 8am returning 5.30pm

Departing Cairns via the Cairns Esplande we travel along one of Australia’s most picturesque coastlines until we reach the coastal township of Port Douglas.  On the way we stop for a photo opportunity at Rex Lookout which provides sweeping views of Wangetti Beach and the Great Dividing Range.  

9.30am    

Arrive Port Douglas – Guided orientation tour pointing out the history and highlights of Port Douglas including 4 mile Beach, Flagstaff Hill Lookout, Marina, sugar cane jetty and the historic quaint church of St Mary's by the Sea.  Passengers then have 2-2.5hrs free time to explore the natural beauty of Port Douglas, shop the quirky shops and have lunch at one of the many cafes that line the main street.  The iconic Sunday markets are also a must.

12.30pm    

Depart Port Douglas for the township of Mossman

1.00pm        

Visit a tropical fruit winery and enjoy free wine tasting

2.00pm        

Arrive Mossman Gorge - home to the Kuku Yalanji Clan
Self-guided tour of the beautiful Mossman Gorge.  Marvel at the beauty of nature as you walk through ancient World Heritage listed rainforest on elevated walkways, try to spot the beautiful Ulysses Butterfly, enjoy a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear cascading waters of the Gorge.
Mossman Gorge Café provides an opportunity for passengers to purchase refreshments and souvenirs.

4pm        

Depart Mossman Gorge for Cairns

5.30pm        

Arrive Cairns and drop off to accommodation

• Due to roadworks on the Captain Cook Highway, travel times between Cairns and Port Douglas are approximate only.  Cairns Flexi Tours cannot be held responsible for delays due to traffic upgrades.

• Due to uneven and sometimes slippery pathways, tour of Mossman Gorge is not suitable for those with mobility issues.

• Tour not suitable for children or babies who require special child vehicle restraints.
